Corrections & Editorial Policy
We would rather be corrected than be wrong. If something on MyLuvDog is inaccurate, out of date, or unclear, tell us and we will fix it.
How we research and fact-check
- Source hierarchy. Health and safety claims are traced to reputable veterinary and industry references before they are published. We prefer primary sources over summaries.
- No pretend testing. Product rankings are based on aggregated owner feedback and published specifications, not first-hand lab testing, and we say so plainly on every guide.
- Plain, non-alarmist language. We explain risks without scaremongering, and we do not overstate what the evidence supports.
- Editorial review. Our editorial director owns the fact-checking standard every guide is held to.
Report an error
Email editorial@myluvdog.com with the page URL and what you believe is wrong (a source helps). We review every message.
How we handle corrections
- Clear factual errors are corrected promptly once verified.
- Significant changes to a guide are reflected in its “last updated” date.
- Where a correction materially changes a recommendation, we note what changed.
Keeping guides current
Care advice and product availability change over time. We review and update guides as guidance evolves and as we learn more; the date on each guide reflects its most recent review.
